The kitchen is daunting. Recipes only teach you to cook one thing, but it doesn’t teach you to integrate cooking into your life. Cooking has a philosophy, a practice to it. I cook about 5 days a week. By opening up about what it’s like inside a working home kitchen, hopefully, it will give you some insight.

I have an idea to teach people who don’t know how to cook, how to cook, but being able to cook daily, it’s not about knowing what to make, you have to learn the philosophy of how to cook.
Recipes are good, but then it only teaches you one thing at a time. It’s really discouraging to throw away food, or look at it not knowing what to do, it just feeds the feeling, “I don’t know how to cook.” There are ways around it. Making a leftover omelet is the first step.
