Halloween Teeth Cookies… #halloween #cookies #Throwbackthursday #TBT
About two years ago, a friend from London visited. He had never experienced Halloween, so we bought costumes, carved pumpkins, and of course had to make a treat for my son’s preschool party. Not sure if it came out right.
“We don’t Eat Food Anymore, We Consume Products.” The Basket that made me #Rethink
So when I looked down at the supermarket basket, full of products, wrapped in plastic, ready to go to landfills, that was made with ingredients I didn’t know how to pronounce. I felt disappointed in myself.

Supermarket Run: Somewhat Processed Foods
More posts from Interior of a Working Kitchen Wednesday: Ever since I had that basket full of processed food, I have tried to cut down. When your bananas that had gone black, to know if they are still edible, just open them. If they are soft and not dark brown you can use them for smoothies. Same with fruit, cut them open, you don’t have to throw them away automatically if they are soft. Cut out the dark parts. Eat the rest or freeze them.
Interior of a Working Kitchen -How to Cook (nearly) everyday. #cooking #learningtocook
The kitchen is daunting. Recipes only teach you to cook one thing, but it doesn’t teach you to integrate cooking into your life. Cooking has a philosophy, a practice to it. I cook about 5 days a week. By opening up about what it’s like inside a working home kitchen, hopefully, it will give you some insight.
