Protests, Political Art, Democracy, Social Change Photos

I realized I had a major oversight on my part, I forgot to mention….

Over on Flickr I started a group called Protests, Political Art, Democracy, Social Change where people submit their photos of social justice protests and political art. So far we have 210 members, 636 photos and hundreds upon hundreds of causes from all around the world. Check it out.

  1. Okay Jim n. I deleted the whole exchange. Mainly what this comes down to is
    1) You insulted other people’s work especially “Freelance Photographer” by calling it “Socialist Communist Junk,”
    2) I happen to believe in what you call “Socialist Communist Junk,”
    3) This blog is ALL about the socialist communist junk. It’s all liberal causes and liberal beliefs. I am sorry that you feel that way. I am sad that just because all my other politics don’t fit well with you. you shall be alienated and do will not support the Democratic Cause in Hong KOng.
I am sorry that is will alienate all the other “Chinese American Conservatives.” But the truth is the people who are MOST in support of trading with China. The people who most support ignorning the human rights and free speech violation in China. The people who most believe the “The Freedom to Buy is not the freedom of thought.” ARE the Chinese American Conservatives.
Politically I don’t agree. Personally I spent many years of my life in California distancing myself from that genre. The thought of being told I should appease that group in order to gain support for the causes I believe in absolutely rubs me the wrong way.
