Glutter’s Hong Kong

I recently did a set of photos in the red light district in Hong Kong for a work related project. I can’t show all of them, but I think the person would allow me to sneak one or two in. 🙂

I was heavily "escorted," by my rather large kiwi lawyer friend in order to even get in some of the clubs, as well as being the distraction for the bar girls and mamasans as I snapped away three feet behind him. Plus a shout out to my very unobtrusive Pentax Optico for doing a good job but remaining an unthreatenning tiny size.

I have to admit though, after forty five minutes, I was gasping for the clean air of Soho and jetted in a cab right to yumla where we debated important stuff like affirmative action and why Howard (PM of Australia) is a right wing fascist in his reproductive policies. We just did that to cover up our rather disturbing earlier in the evening tryst to the other side of the club culture in HK.
