Gun-Play Hong Kong Style

Glutter’s Hong Kong

You've got a MMS
Newscaster Reporting on the people mountain People sea
(人山人海) situation at the flower market in Vic Park.

Ministool*Please note: the guy in the right corner is holding up a
soft plastic blow-up/fold-up-stool that you hit people with. Everyone of my friends and the kids in the family have been talking about how we want one because it’s one of the "top ten
choice weapons" (十大武器) in (triad gang) fights. Others include, choppers, mag-lights, snooker balls with a hole drilled through and a string attached. Not to mention just generally having all da bros in close vicinity.

Surely this is an example of Gun-play Hong Kong Style.

(You may however have to be hongkongren or grow up with kung fu venecular to truly apreciate the joke, but trust me. It’s halarious.)

  1. Heh. I’m not from HK but am familiar with Stephen Chow flicks – so yeah, I get the joke about those fold-up stools. I just got back from visiting HK, having spent my first-ever CNY in a place other than Canada…and I brought one of those blow-up folding stools at a flower market home. Haha.
