Manhunt, the New VO, HKbloggers.com, & bad Chinese characters

Glutter plugs.

The Bi-Monthly Salon Blog zine Virtual Occoquan #68 is now online.

I have been meaning to this for months. But I think I forgot. Tian has created a site where he shows the misuse of Chinese and Japanese characters in Western culture. Some of them are a bit strange, some of them are mindblowingly wrong.

Hkbloggers.com is looking for "Hong Kong" bloggers around the world to join this comprehensive listing. A Chinese version will be online soon. Email Kenneth with your blog name, URL, a short description and the MTR station you would like to be placed in. (I am in Central.) Very cool site, all coded by the creator himself.

My friend and I found the most enjoyable reality TV show ever (Saturday Night: World). Manhunt: The Search for America’s Most Gorgeous Male Model (spoiler alert) "Yaowsi," as my friend Charles likes to say. "What would I like to change about myself? That’s one of the hardest questions I have ever been asked" (Video.) I am very partial to Hunter. He spontaneously takes off his shirt whenever he is faced with life’s hardships (like not being allowed into a club.) And as every smart girl knows, if you want to talk about men, bypass all other avenues and head straight (no pun indeed) to the harems of gay boy gossip.
