Here is a photo that was on the front page of CNN.com

I don’t know why but the photo gave me the eekkk.

There is just something wrong with it.

Maybe it’s the difference in proportion making the picture look wrong.

Maybe it’s just the general fashion choice of Bush supporters.

Probably it’s the over enthusiasm of hugging a piece of cardboard.

Or maybe it’s the first time I have seen a woman cling so personally to an US president since….

At this moment of staring deeply and longingly at that smug face for another four years.

The only way to deal is revert to bitter cynicism, sarcasm, and snideness.
