After five years of faithful service my sony viao died a peaceful death in the arms of my friend who was trying to reinstall a new o s. It travelled the world, mother of numerous copy, articles, doctored images and web site structure. Was instrumental in helping me keep in touch as well as create all of glutter. It will be sorely missed.

Aw. I will say that I am impressed that that Vaio lasted that long…
I still have an ancient 486DX4 with 16MB of RAM that I built, a long, long time ago in a place far, far away, that still crawls and is not yet dead or on life-support, but that is the first time I’ve heard of a laptop lasting that long without dying. Especially if that laptop has followed you around the world.

It has something to do with love I think because my mac 420 black and white lap top lasted five years also. Actually I can still turn it on and read my college essays on it.
