Hi.
Can anyone help? My computer has been infected with an extremely malignant spyware. I can hardly use it, without it crashing, and even when I am clicking onto yahoo or here I end up on a number of ad websites. If I can connect to sites at all without coming against the 404 error. Also the browsers can open up to eighty at a time, along with I am very concerned that my computer is being used for spam because whatever browswer opens I keep getting an odd free server gay space url.
the biggest problem is that it’s BLOCKED ME FROM DOWNLOADING anti spy ware software. I tried a number of it already from CNET.com, but each one says that my configuration is preventing me from doing so. So can you help?

If you’re using Internet Explorer, try changing to Firefox because it blocks popups.

All I can do to help is wish a plague of flesh-eating locusts upon the homes of the evil code-writing fucks that craft spyware and adware.
The Arabs say it best: “Harai alek”. My shit upon them.

oh yes, Spirit Fingers is right,
when all else fails or you just decide you want a better browser – switching to Firefox would be a good idea too 🙂

try downloading the spyware removal software on another computer, then transfer via disk or cd or something to your computer. worth a shot.

Spirit Fingers, pketh and Steve all make good suggestions, and I’d like to especially emphasize the superiority of the Firefox browser. Both faster and more secure.
Good luck with that.

It won’t get any more secure as long as you’re using Windows O/S. LINUX RULES!!!!

Can you disable popup windows on your browser? That would certainly help you a little. I know you can set browsers such as Mozilla and Firefox to automatically disable them. At least you won’t have the blizzard that you have know while you figure out what to do.
