Glutter goes Red for the Coming of the New Year

Well Glutter goes RED because on Thursday, it’s Chinese New Year. It is the color of luck, and we must sweep all the sad things of the past year such as mentions of death of a great one, and also any kind of disagreements off the front page coz it’s not good to start the New Year this way.

It’s not in terms of any backing down, it’s just not good to have bad things around the first 15 days of the new year. (But I am gonna do it on the day).

Last Chinese New Year I was in New York. I spent it at China Town and watched the parade! It was awesome, as I have never watched the one at home coz I am busy with family stuff. This year was a shorter year for whatever reasons of the moon, as last year we celebrated in Feb.

No matter, I hear that the year of the Monkey is good for the Tigers (1974) which is me. It’s about time. I am looking forward to it.

  1. Happy Chinese new year!! I never would’ve thought light yellow and reddish brown would go together so nice 🙂
oh btw, I have a simple question.. when I leave a comment on your blog and there’s a reply I get an email saying somebody replied. I thought that was a pretty sweet touch and wondered how to do it too (I have typepad as well), any advice? 🙂
