Laos 1999: Daily Life

Stories of a Backpacking Addict

Subject: Nothing Much. Just Living

Hi, nothing much. Back in LP. Eating banana pancakes,
chicken legs, salads, walking around by the river of
old trees, watching Crusty and Nic play with little
ten year old novices, and teaching the older ones,
getting chewed by three month old baby tigers, playing
basketball, kicking butt in gin rummy while listenning
to Ben Harper. PMSing and feeling really weepy and
sensitive, but the boys are being beautiful about it.
A bit of drama here and there but nothing I feel the
need to report. Found a little house we are all moving
into. Needs a LOT of work, but let them do it. Will
be home Jan 11th 2000. Have a good Christmas and New
years okay. Love Yan

  1. As requested. It’s back up. Okay? It’s sorta scary to do things like that you know!
Thanks. Once the damn scanner is working again. I will illustrate with photos.
