Comment on Glutter:
Whether it’s self-righteous or naïve, the fact remains that this entry is lucid, rational and intelligible. What’s it doing in a blog?
As I already said, I was sorely dissapointed that I didn’t get to the win the “Worse Blog in Hong Kong” Contest, and so I had to proclaim myself as that.
Now, it’s gotten even worse. The bitting sarcasm has gone to a whole new high. I thought I learnt to handle abuse, I thought I learnt to handle flame wars, I thought I learnt to handle outright slander about myself and my family as well as barely veiled snide comments about me from other HK bloggers. But no… this hurts.. the Not the SCMP wrote something about me. It’s not the naive part, and definately not the self righteous part because I know it’s true, I can be both, often at the same time. But I am so good at it, pout. But QQ is cruel, he’s mean, he’s totally taking this piss.

On the subject of diarrhoea, Glutter writes, “What I want for Christmas. That no one will die of diarrhoea, malaria or malnutrition, especially for those under five. (it then links to a news item about child deaths in developing world nations). Is that asking too much in this day and age? I don’t think so.”

I added the bold and italic myself.
You know he doesn’t mean it. I have never heard the guy say anything nice, you know? And he’s been around forever… I know coz a long time ago, I sent it to my boss once, as an example that I wasn’t too sarcastic for the Hong Kong Market, I could be so much worse.

I think the guy is all out to get the hits needed. Good luck on winning worst blog by next week!

You know, his beef is with blogs in general, so I think he meant it.
