I have been called a LEFT WING WHACKO! Ha Ha.

Hey, I really can’t stay away… I have been called a LEFT WING WHACKO. Which I am, thank you, you RIGHT WING CONSERVATIVE TWIT…

I got called this along with a whole other bunch of bloggers over the fact we linked the “miserable failure” result on google that leads to George W Bush’s bio. (By the way, thank you to all those who removed the “W” on the White House key boards, great practical joke.)

Please Type “Miserable Failure” in google

Ya. Remind me also to thank those in the blog world who took down my link eventually, coz I don’t like being associated with conservatives, republicans, pedantic bores (to quote one Mr. Lucky Weed, who I think I met at a bar in CC) or whatever the right wing party of the country they are from is called. I don’t care which city I live in I have NOTHING in common with them.

Below is the Repost from a blog I won’t link to, coz he’s one of those.. but I do agree with the three points he squawked (his own blog name), especially people believe what they read without thinking it through, why else would he think the way he does?

And the result is the widely accepted view globally, except for a minority in the US, UK and Australia or the “coalition” forces of like 6, and the 20 countries who are dependent on those three’s “aid” packages of foreign debts, thanks to the WTO.

Just because the corporate media didn’t cover the protests properly, didn’t mean they didn’t happen.

OF GOOGLEBOMBS AND BLOGWARS

Have you heard about the recent “Googlebombing” which resulted in associating the search phrase “miserable failure” with the presidency of George W. Bush? The story first appeared on the NY Times website and details how one leftist blogger managed to hyperlink the term “miserable failure” to the White House’s official GWB biography page. Apparently, this link caught on among the left wing whackos, and began showing up in enough blogs to cause a simple Google search of the words “miserable failure” to link you directly to the president’s bio.

Not to be outdone, some of the blogs here on the right have launched a counter-attack to place the term miserable failure in its more fitting historical perspective. The Daily Pundit offers the best scoop on the whole story.

IMO, this whole mess is getting a little surreal. It demonstrates very clearly that 1. We all have become a little too dependant on Google for our information these days. 2. The power of blogging as a medium is here to stay, for better or for worse and 3. The general public believes what it reads for the most part, which can be a dangerous thing if you consider that history can be re-written on the Internet. Don’t believe me? What if this became widely accepted as a result of a Googlebomb?

By the way Mr. Squawk Box, your president didn’t WIN the election, he got given it by the supreme court and an out dated system of state politics. Vote by vote, liberal vs conservatives, the liberals won especially if you take in the Nadar ballots.

And yeah, I do believe in rewriting history on the Internet coz it’s one place the “victors” don’t always rule. Which is why it’s called SELF PUBLISHING. Welcome to the world of alternative voices.
