Today is this little blog’s sixth month do-da. The first one was so exciting as with each month that’s passed. But today. I think I hate it.
Anyway, I have been thinking maybe its better not really bother with it in the same way anymore, as I have no real time to do other stuff. I admit because of this blog I have neglected certain other aspects of my life, coz I was so excited to be writing again.
I really don’t know how the some people cope with the busy jet setting life style of drinking and chasing women around Asia and beyond, looking after families along with the big important corporate job, plus have time to read obscure news feeds from wires, write it all up, then go around commenting on everyone else on 12 other blogs and have a life! Maybe I need a wife and a maid….Otherwise please give me some of that time management skill!
I am just like a semi-purposefully underemployed depressed, go to a shrink once a week to sort out my perceived mental problems Gen X slacker artist-dudette like 10 years too late for my generation to be relevant. With like no money, a few good friends, lots of time, and fodder to bored guys who need something to kick around in front of all the new audience who might have popped into the blog world right after the SCMP article. Boy, I am glad I was introduced to all these new readers as victim of the month.
Ya. Thanks for the Virginia Wolf references, I am glad someone saw my weak and slightly off-kilter disposition and said, “If only I knew you I would give you hell for having such a defeatist attitude.” Yeah.. if only others realized the same thing. Like they didn’t even know me before they whacked my poor little head on the concrete and start saying they don’t give me no respect. But Mr. you’re one of the few people who take an interest in culture in Hong Kong, art, music, films etc, something not many people do, (just wait till I start talking about ballets, my favorite plays, all the major art museums I have been to around the world. You would wish you never asked.) Yeah, yeah I will keep writing. I can’t remember if it’s Courtney or Liz Phair or maybe both who sang, “Yeah, Come on now, Shut me up.” [massive guitar riff] I won’t be giving anyone that pleasure, although I am going to whine about this for another week or two.
