Do We Enjoy Freedoms or Do Other Suffer Oppression? #我要真普選 #umbrellamovement #umhk

China rules Hong Kong under a "one country, two systems" formula that accords the city a degree of autonomy and freedom not enjoyed in mainland China, with universal suffrage an eventual goal.

The press always writes "Hong Kong "enjoys" more freedoms than those in China."

Like freedoms are play things.

Instead they should say, "Hong Kong doesn't suffer as much repression as those on the mainland."
