The student leader who has the microphone asked a number of questions about whether the students wanted the police to have food. They all changed “yes.”
There are police coming and going, I think the formation has tripled, far exceeding the numbers of students there.
There is jeering/cheering but I don’t see anything on the feed. It’s at a wide angle now. Switches between barricade shots and that.
Want to backtrack, when the student leader last spoke, he mentioned “we trusted you and let you go through with ambulances but you took advantage of that. You brought in supplies.”
I assume he is referring to tear gas and rubber bullets that I saw footage of being taken in.
I think I heard mention on the news that they came from an ambulance. I suppose it means the students let them through.
That’s all I can piece together. I was asleep. Living in LA.
