Calm 8 decisions and consensus #occupyhk #umbrellamovement

All seems calm, for now. Now news are reporting the incident previously. Seemed quite straightforward. Said the students leaders are discussing whether to let the car go through or not.. Of course there are differing opinions..

That’s a small decision to get consensus compared with what they will ask for, expect, demand from the HK govt representative.

After CY doesn’t want to resign. What will they want??

My son needs attention. He has been whining and wanting me for the whole hour, he is jealous. He of course doesn’t need me when I am not doing something important. Kids are famous for this. He is even asking about a picture on my wall. It’s been there for five years. Nothing is happening. So better take the time to help him with homework.

I write this because live moves on, and even if we care so much, we grow out of being able to place all our attention to a cause.

That’s why students are the ones who should take the lead in movements.. I am glad the original occupy central leaders seem to have stepped aside. They don’t have as much sway with the young protesters. But when it all ends, if there is success, you know they will run out to take credit.. Gosh, so cynical in my old age. But also know it’s true.

I will never forget when the student leaders asked the university students to help and tutor the highschool students with the school work they missed while walking out of school or if their school has been closed during road closures.
