Armed Gunman Found, Shootout with Police. Why are we worried about casualties if men with guns can save everyone?

Christopher Dorner reportedly located, exchanged gunfire with police..

I am sure many many people are scared about the causalities of the police force. I say why don't they send in the millions of people who claimed that if they were in the Newtown Classroom with a gun, they would have saved the kids? They all say they are such great shots.
