“God is Dead” but I pay respect to “my” Pope.

You've got a MMS

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb.
Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

The Pope died last week. He was sick for a long time. I was walking down Central and when I came across his funeral broadcast on one of the giant public television. I found myself stopping and making the sign of a cross as his coffin appeared on the big screen.

John Paul II was wrong about abortion, wrong about contraception, wrong about his stance on homosexuality. But he was right on compassion, charity, peace and respect for all people. Which are the tenants Catholics like my grandmother believed.

With Bishop Zen being one of the biggest proponents of self-determination in Hong Hong and the continual support for the democratic cause from the organization’s followers. I feel they have given me something I can continue to believe in.

There is no God, but there is Bishop Zen and there is the Pope. There are people like my grandmothers who remained good all their lives because they believed in something outside of themselves.

Glutter pays respect to her Pope.
