Zhao Zi Yang Memorial Photos

Awaiting a Democratic Hong Kong.

Today is the last day of the year of the sheep Monkey, and tomorrow will be the year of the rooster.

Nothing more important in the fight for freedom in the Chinese political landscape than the death of Zhao Zi Yang this year. It turns out that I was far from the only Hong Kong Blogger at the memorial events.

Here are their photos. A lot of us care about the same things.

  1. Fighting for democracy is tough in Hong Kong. The pro-authority camp has strong backup from Beijng and the government. The election system is not fair, and we also have to deal with the obedient nature of Chinese culture.
I too wish for a democracy society, and I am so glad to meet fellow bloggers supporting the democratic movement.
    Happy Chinese New Year!

  2. Thanks Yan for your hyperlink.
I feel very sad when I attend the Candle light vigil.
Anyway, it’s Chinese New Year time, let’s hope some day, we have “Year of the Democracy”.
