紀元1月29日訊】(自由亞洲電台1月28日報導）前中共總書記趙紫陽的遺體告別儀式定于星期六在北京的八寶山殯儀館舉行，盡管有消息說，屆時將會有大約
兩千人出席，但异議人士都被拒絕參加，其中包括趙紫陽的政治秘書鮑彤以及流亡美國的原北京學運領袖王丹的母親王凌云等。

王丹星期五向自由亞洲電台表示，他的母親星期五上午到北京金台飯店領取趙紫陽遺體告別儀式的出席證，但遭到拒絕，理由是王凌云的名字不在名單上。

有現場工作人員表示，出席者的名單是領導給的。

王丹認為，當局禁止部分公民悼念趙紫陽，充分顯示當局對自己的統治沒有信心。

另据香港的中國人權民運信息中心星期五發出的傳真，一名接近原國務院副總理田紀云的人士表示，田紀云會參加趙紫陽的遺體告別儀式。(

BEIJING
– The much waited memorial for the former CCP General Secretary Zhao
Ziyang finally took place yesterday in Beijing. During the 12 days
between Zhao’s passing to yesterday’s memorial, the CCP authority
exercised strict control over electronic mail traffic, and blocked all
messages that contained such sensitive words as “Zhao,” “Ziyang,” or
even “News.”

Zhao Ziyang was ousted from his position in 1989 for
his sympathy for the June 4th student movement, and was put on house
arrest for more than 15 years. After he passed away on January 17,
demands his redress and for the reassessment of the June 4th student
movement have been voiced in both China and the world.

To prevent
widespread protests, Beijing authorities exercised extremely tight
control. Other than forbidding media from publishing Zhao-related
articles and banning websites from discussing Zhao, they also
controlled electronic mail, an important means for modern communication.

Sources
in Beijing revealed that they encountered difficulties in accessing
email messages during the week before Zhao’s memorial.

Sources
indicated that such systematic email blockage has occurred before, but
in general, it has happened less often in recent years. The authority’s
email blockage clearly showed their caution and fear.

According
to these informants, messages in both Chinese and English have been
blocked. As soon as Zhao’s memorial was over yesterday, those email
messages that contain the sensitive words of “Zhao,” “Ziyang,” or
“News” suddenly flooded in.

According to a report on January 28 by Radio Free Asia, former Chinese
leader Zhao Ziyang’s memorial service is scheduled to take place on
Saturday at the Babaoshan National Cemetery. Sources said that
approximately 2000 people are expected to be present at the ceremony.
However, dissidents were all rejected from attending the memorial and
among them are Zhao Ziyang’s political secretary, Bao Tong, and Wang
Dan’s mother, Wang Lingyun. Wang Dan, the former leader of the Beijing
student democracy movement, is currently living in exile in the US.

Wang
Dan told Radio Free Friday that his mother went to Beijing’s Jintai
Hotel on Friday morning to get a permit for attending Zhao’s memorial
service at the Babaoshan National Cemetery, but she was rejected on the
ground that her name was not in the list.
Staff at the scene said that the participant list was given by supervisors.

Wang
Dan thinks that the fact that the authorities rejected some civilian
from paying tribute to Zhao Ziyang totally shows that they don’t have
confidence in their regime.

In addition, according to a fax
issued by the China Human Rights and Democracy Movements Information
Center in Hong Kong, someone who is close to the former Deputy State
Primer, Tian Jiyun indicated that Mr. Tian will attend Zhao’s memorial
service.
