Merging Boundaries: New Sub-Editor

Merging Boundaries: Our Transnational World Can Be Found Here

Announcement:

Sometimes we are grateful for any help we can get. My old friend, who I have known exactly half my life Mr. Rick Frost has come on as the sub-editor for the Merging Boundaries Series. He is a Financial Journalist in real life, and was born in the West Indies, grew up in between Hong Kong and England, and is now living in London. Somewhere in-between he was shuttered here and there, but I can never remember the details. I suppose he will write about it in his piece.

As I was creating the idea, I have no doubt he was somewhere in the back of my mind, as your life and friends inform everything you do. And the nicest thing was, we got back in touch because he wandered into Glutter one day and in the content of the first email I sent to him was roping him into writing for this.

I am going to hand off a lot of the proof reading duties to him which is a blessing. This means the essays will be all the more stronger and some of you might be receiving emails from a Mr. Frost.

Another thing you should know about this man, is he very famously stole the plate and cutlery wall hanging outside an exclusive restaurant called “M at the Fringe” when we were 15-16, and the reason we all remember it so well is because it was captured in a photograph which was then published in the in the SCMP gossip column. The plate was returned, the fork and knife was never found, but I know who had them.
