Afternoon Pocari Sweat Tasting

Hong Kong

The Street Racers sometime drink this thing called “Pocari Sweat.” It’s watered down salt water, kinda. The only time I have managed to finish one was, while on my way back to HK after travelling 40 something hours from LA to New York To Tokyo, (okay with a bit of a party stop in between). I finally decided to collaspe on something soft in the medical tent. They gave me one of those and I drank it happily and went to sleep in the lulling comfort of sweet Japanese voices of Hello Kitty.

Giles from misohoni, after months and months of living in Hong Kong, finally decided to do the taste test while healthy. Here is what he found out:

I recently tried the Pocari Sweat “drink”. At claims to have “Ion Supplies”, which is always useful. I can’t describe in words how it tastes, so I’ve used illustrations.
