Empty Shop

I just walked pass Racing Zero. The blue gate was up. I had a look in. There was nothing in it. The office was empty of the desk, no one inside. The main room no longer held the car polishing equipment, the towels, the buckets, the cars. Two men were looking at it, I am sure it’s the owner and another person looking to rent.

On the wall two small Japanese Robot character soft toy still hangs, I wondered if should go in and pick it up for Mike. But I think they belong to Wah, it’s more like him to have stuff like that.

The really nice sign of the shop is still over the blue gate, the two together was so pretty. It looks so new. It didn’t last three months, I don’t think. Floor still half painted.

It occurred to me the reason Mike did it was because he didn’t think he would get caught. He didn’t think his partner would call the cops on him. That’s why everyone does the bad things we do, because we think we can get away with it.
