Stories of a Backpacking Addict

I met Sarah in Laos a few days before the end of the last millenium. I was lost, and trying to find a resturant in Vienetiene. I kept bumping into her, so I finally stopped her and asked for directions. It turned out she was on her way for food, and the two of us spent the whole night chatting away -sharing our live stories.

She said to me, “If you’re even in that part of the world, come visit me in Dublin.” Europe at the time seemed so far away, and I would never go. But I did. And I did visit her. I had such a lovely time there. I had never met such friendly people, with such big hearts.

People who I met for a few moments would say to me, “If you’re heading to (whatever town), look up my parents, you can stay in my old bedroom.”

These are some of my favorite photos I have ever taken of some of my favorite people I had the pleasure to know. Thank you Dublin.
